The Brief

To build the value of their website, expanding their online presence and reaching new audiences

Having had bad experiences with agencies prior to partnering with Embryo, ChooseMyCar were looking for a communicative and transparent business to provide SEO, PPC and social media marketing services. Their website was still quite new when they came on board, so we were tasked with strengthening the website and rising through the organic rankings while driving conversions and leads through paid marketing avenues.

Having performed a comprehensive SEO audit, we began work performing on-page optimisation and technical fixes, improving the overall health of the website. This process included image optimisation, disavowing toxic links, internal linking edits and more – streamlining and improving the way in which Google crawls, indexes and ranks the website. By conducting targeted link building, we were also able to raise the authority value of the website in a short space of time.

Our SEO team also conducted thorough and in-depth keyword research, with which we also applied our signature long-form content, quickly adding thousands of words of informative and expert content to ChooseMyCar’s key service pages. This saw immediate ranking growth while allowing us to build a strong foundation for continued growth for the keywords and search terms that would convert ChooseMyCar’s audience.

The PPC team immediately set about building an ad campaign focused on promoting and driving convertible traffic to the ‘bad credit car finance’ landing pages. This is an important service for ChooseMyCar and is an audience they wanted to expand into – our targeted and incisive PPC campaign was the perfect tool for the job.

Wanting to build on their current audience while expanding ChooseMyCar’s reach online, our paid social media marketing team implemented lookalike campaigns and retargeting campaigns alongside ads for their existing audience.
